The Chris Atwood Foundation is a peer-driven community organization in Northern Virginia that works to provide FREE lifesaving recovery support and resources to people impacted by substance use, to create policy changes that serve the health and well-being of the community, and to help prevent substance use disorder. Addiction is a health condition that requires proper care & treatment. Recovery is possible and there are many pathways to recovery. People who use substances have a right to healthcare and dignity. Harm Reduction and Recovery work better together. Compassion, love, & connection change lives. Family Recovery and engagement are valuable. Getting support should be easy.
