Monthly 2nd Friday meeting providing safe space for connection, peer-facilitated trans support, and community building. TGEA is for those in gender transition, considering the possibility (even remotely), or post-transition (however the individual may define that), and to anyone anywhere along the gender spectrum, whether static or dynamic. Significant others, friends, family, and allies are welcome. 2nd Friday is composed of four sub-groups: please see website for details about each group. 3rd Sunday group for significant others of those in transition. All groups are currently meeting on Zoom; contact for information on how to connect. TGEA can also provide speakers to organizations or community groups for outreach and/or education.

Services are available statewide by Telehealth. In-network with Aetna commercial plans only. Provides documentation to help clients seek reimbursement from "out-of-network" insurance plans. Specializes in culturally-responsive LGBTQIA+ care and trauma recovery. Is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Specialist. Member of WPATH and EMDR International Association. Is licensed to provide therapy to residents of Virginia and North Carolina.
