NovaSalud is committed to providing care to people living with HIV regardless of their ability to pay. For those who are uninsured or underinsured, the Ryan White Program provides linkage to the Ryan White HIV care and supportive services.
NovaSalud provides free confidential HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C counseling and testing for residents living in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. Outreach testing has been the foundation of NovaSalud's successful HIV prevention program for the past decade. Appointments are available by phone, online scheduling, or walk-in.
The Comprehensive Harm Reduction (CHR) Program is part of a larger Public Health strategy to reduce negative health outcomes for people who engage in substance use. NovaSalud Program incorporates a spectrum of strategies and evidence-based interventions that include overdose, HIV/HCV transmission, and other infection prevention.

Drop-In Center North, located at 2328 Williamson Road provides access to syringe exchange mobile unit (for clean needles and needle disposal), risk reduction counseling, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, would care/clean works kits, linkage to care, and more. We also offer harm reduction, skill-building classes, at our office and at treatment centers across Southwest Virginia.
