The Bradley Free Clinic serves uninsured, or underinsured residents of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Free Clinic patients have income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. is a non-profit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), committed to the health care of individuals and families of our community, regardless of race, religion or social status. We currently operate out of six (6) different Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health centers located in Lunenburg, Dinwiddie, Amelia and Greensville Counties. We are dedicated to providing health care to everyone, including the medically underserved, uninsured and underinsured. This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). This health center has FTCA deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Mental health services, including outpatient counseling, therapeutic and social support groups, education, outreach, free walk-in clinic, and referral letters for gender-affirming medical care. Counseling services provided free of charge for uninsured and under-insured cisgender female, transgender, and nonbinary/gender nonconforming individuals, regardless of ability to pay. Whenever possible, there is a Black therapist available at each of the wellness clinics.
