Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve. This clinic is a school-based clinic.

The Roanoke Valley Mental Health Care Collaborative provides free mental health assessments, psychiatric care and medication management, access to medications and counseling to uninsured adults who are not eligible for mental health treatment in any other system of care available in our community. More than 95% of our clients have income at less than 150% of the federal poverty level. Services provided through the collaborative decrease the severity of symptoms of psychiatric disorders, improve performance at work or school, strengthen personal and family relationships and enhance the quality of day-to-day functioning for our clients, thereby reducing both human suffering and the economic and societal costs resulting from untreated mental illnesses.

Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. is a non-profit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), committed to the health care of individuals and families of our community, regardless of race, religion or social status. We currently operate out of six (6) different Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health centers located in Lunenburg, Dinwiddie, Amelia and Greensville Counties.
