The Rockbridge Area Free Clinic (RAFC) serves low-income, uninsured residents of the Rockbridge area (Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County) who cannot otherwise afford or obtain health care services. All RAFC patients have incomes below 150% of the federal poverty guideline with the majority actually below 100% of the poverty guideline. The vast majority of RAFC patients work or belong to working families. Of the people currently seeking RAFC services, 65% have one or more chronic disease such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and/or asthma that require ongoing medical treatment and medication therapy. These diseases, when left unmanaged, are very expensive to treat. In addition, according to the latest census figures there are an approximately 4,000 area low-income residents that could qualify for RAFC care.

ARE is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides innovative approaches to improve health disparities in our community. For almost thirty years ARE has offered individualized HIV support care services to those impacted by HIV. At AIDS Response Effort, Inc., their Ryan White Part B Case Management Services are dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Their goal is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by ensuring they have access to essential medical care and supportive services. Ryan White Part B Eligibility Assessment Site.

Piedmont Access to Health Services, Inc. ("PATHS") is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to provide healthcare to all citizens (in South Central Virginia) -- regardless of their ability to pay. The vision of PATHS is to provide access to quality primary and specialty care, prescription medication, case management and other ancillary services to the citizens of Southern Virginia and surrounding areas. It is the core value of PATHS that everyone has the right to quality health care. PATHS provides a medical home for everyone -- including the uninsured and underinsured as well as a point of entry into established human service agencies and health care system.

Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. We started in 1970 as a community based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. We are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. We offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of our governing board is made up of our patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients we serve. At CVHS, we believe that everyone has the right to accessible, high quality health care services, regardless of gender, race, color, religion, ethnic or national origin, political beliefs, marital status, age, sexual orientation, social, financial, and family background, linguistic preference, disability, retaliation, genetic information, harassment, pregnancy, or sexual harassment.

Individual psychotherapy and couples counseling for adults (18+). Provides educational resources and letters of support for gender-affirming medical care. Services are available statewide by Telehealth. In-network with Aetna commercial plans only. Provides documentation to help clients seek reimbursement from "out-of-network" insurance plans. Specializes in culturally-responsive LGBTQIA+ care and trauma recovery. Is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Specialist. Member of WPATH and EMDR International Association. Is licensed to provide therapy to residents of Virginia and North Carolina.

We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. The Bradley Free Clinic serves uninsured, or underinsured residents of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Free Clinic patients have income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. The majority of all patients suffer from hypertension, obesity, diabetes, depression, and morbid obesity. Hepatitis C testing and treatment is offered at the Bradley Free Clinic
