Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

The Urban League of Hampton Roads, Inc. was founded in 1978 with a mission to assist African-Americans and others in the achievement of social and economic equality. The League implements its mission in four programmatic areas: Education and Youth, Employment and Economic Empowerment, Housing and Health and Wellness. St. Luke Community Clinic (SLCC) serves uninsured patients who are under 200% of the federal poverty level. SLCC provides chronic and primary care to eligible individuals referring patients for more specialized care if that care is available from our medical partners in our community. From the ages of 18 to 64, our patient population transcends all walks of life. A woman?s health program is available. The clinic also works with patients to obtain necessary medications.

The Free Clinic of Culpeper provides medical care to residents of Culpeper who have no health insurance with an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. We provide primary health care services and referrals to speicalists. Our licensed pharmacy provides on-site prescriptions medications. In order to be eligible for services patients must be currently working, seeking employment, or disabled.
