The Free Medical Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, Virginia, serves low-income, uninsured working residents of Frederick County, Winchester City, and Clarke County. Almost 100% of patients served by the Free Medical Clinic of Northern Shenandoah Valley have incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. Approximately two-thirds of the FMC of Northern Shenandoah Valley patients have one or more chronic illnesses which require ongoing medication therapies, etc. ? In 2011 the Clinic provided 9366 patient visits, treated 1048 patients, and screened 532 new patients for services.

NovaSalud is committed to providing care to people living with HIV regardless of their ability to pay. For those who are uninsured or underinsured, the Ryan White Program provides linkage to the Ryan White HIV care and supportive services. NovaSalud provides free confidential HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C counseling and testing for residents living in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. Outreach testing has been the foundation of NovaSalud's successful HIV prevention program for the past decade. Appointments are available by phone, online scheduling, or walk-in. The Comprehensive Harm Reduction (CHR) Program is part of a larger Public Health strategy to reduce negative health outcomes for people who engage in substance use. NovaSalud Program incorporates a spectrum of strategies and evidence-based interventions that include overdose, HIV/HCV transmission, and other infection prevention. NovaSalud programs provide support to diverse community members in the DC metropolitan area. The Virginia Farmworkers' Legal Assistance Project is a program of the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society. We offer legal assistance to migrant farmworkers' working in Virginia under the H-2A visa program, as well as migrant farmworkers who are legal residents or citizens of the US. We represent clients with work related legal issues, such as unpaid wages. Our office is located in Charlottesville, VA.
