Access to healthcare is a key element of any thriving community. With this in mind, Pathways Free Specialty Clinic is working with various partners to provide myriad health resources for Southside Virginia. Physicians and nurses volunteer their time to offer free services in the following areas: heart conditions, arthritis, sleep disorders, asthma, women?s breast health, and vaccinations for flu and Hepatitis B. We also provide education in nutrition, exercise, managing fibromyalgia, and more.

Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. The Fauquier Free Clinic serves low-income, uninsured residents of both Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties. Our patients come from households living at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. Over 65% of our patients are employed. Most are working in the service sector or in agriculture. We treat only those patients with no health insurance and no access to Medicaid, Medicare or other health care support.

Fredericksburg Counseling Services, Inc.(FCS),a mental health free clinic, provides access to counseling and other related services, at no charge, to low income, uninsured residents of our region. Services include individual, couples, family counseling, case management for FCS clients and educational presentations. The agency's goal is to help people work toward freedom from mental and emotional problems, family and marital conflicts, and other situations that affect quality of life.

ARE is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides innovative approaches to improve health disparities in our community. For almost thirty years ARE has offered individualized HIV support care services to those impacted by HIV. At AIDS Response Effort, Inc., their Ryan White Part B Case Management Services are dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Virginia offers reproductive health and family planning services to the community. Additionally we provide comprehensive, medically accurate sex education to faith based groups and other community members.

We serve everyone—regardless of age or insurance status. We want patients to understand that we—the staff, the doctors, the nurses— live, work and play in the same community as they do. When patients come to Community Access Network, they’re being treated by their neighbors, their fellow church members and those they see on the bus every morning. We want our patients to understand that their health is all that matters to us and that the quality of care they’ll receive will be consistent, courteous and compassionate. Our medical offices are open evening hours, and we offer same-day and walk-in services at some locations. We accept most insurances, including: PCHP, Optima, Anthem, Aetna, VAPremier, Tricare, Medicaid and Medicare.

Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

At Hallmark Youthcare, we treat adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues triggered by trauma. Loss, neglect, use, and/or other traumas affect development in myriad physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual ways. Traumatized children develop strategies for coping- some functional and some dysfunctional. We strive to empower youth and their families to overcome their difficulties and fulfill their potential. These four areas are known as the SELF framework. Every aspect of residential care, from community living to therapy, incorporates an emphasis on these areas.

Bon Secours has inpatient and outpatient programs for treatment of substance abuse and psychiatric medicine. The inpatient center is Maryview Behavioral Medicine Center, located on the campus of Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth. Chemical Dependency Consultation and Intervention Services This service is designed to recognize and treat chemical dependency in medical/surgical patients and to reduce the complications associated with chemical dependency. Service is provided by selectively trained members of Maryview's chemical dependency service, and includes medical, nursing and counseling services.
