Access to healthcare is a key element of any thriving community. With this in mind, Pathways Free Specialty Clinic is working with various partners to provide myriad health resources for Southside Virginia. Physicians and nurses volunteer their time to offer free services in the following areas: heart conditions, arthritis, sleep disorders, asthma, women?s breast health, and vaccinations for flu and Hepatitis B. We also provide education in nutrition, exercise, managing fibromyalgia, and more.

Programs that provide counseling services for individuals at risk for contracting or transmitting the HIV virus with the objective of supporting their ability to make behavior changes that will reduce their risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV. Counseling involves a personal risk assessment, development of a personalized action plan and the decision to seek an HIV test. Individuals who have a history of injection drug use, unprotected intercourse or sexual contact, sexual activity at a young age, multiple sex partners, sexually transmitted infection, and/or sex trade work are considered to be at high or increased risk and are targets for prevention counseling.

The Loudoun Free Clinic provides quality volunteer health care services to low-income, uninsured residents of Loudoun County whose health care needs would otherwise go unmet. To qualify for services, patients must be residents of Loudoun County, ages 18 ? 64, uninsured and have income levels at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Operating for 40+ years, Southeastern Virginia Health System (SEVHS) is the premier community-based health care initiative in Hampton Roads for the insured, uninsured, and underinsured. The 501(c)3 operates twelve sites, providing primary care and dental services to individuals and families. SEVHS physicians are board-certified and provide services in the areas of family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology. With practices located in Newport News, Hampton, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Franklin, SEVHS also offers a number of other support services such as health education and nutrition counseling, case management, referrals to specialty care, medication assistance and on-site lab testing. Southeastern Virginia Health System is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and the Virginia Community Healthcare Association (VACHA). SEVHS services over 25,000 patients annually.

Programs that provide walk-in, walk-out diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents and/or adults who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders but do not need 24-hour care; and/or provide counseling services for individuals, couples, families and extended family groups who may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations such as separation, divorce, widowhood, loss of a child, poor health, unemployment, family violence, delinquency or substance abuse.

Bon Secours has inpatient and outpatient programs for treatment of substance abuse and psychiatric medicine. The inpatient center is Maryview Behavioral Medicine Center, located on the campus of Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth. Chemical Dependency Consultation and Intervention Services This service is designed to recognize and treat chemical dependency in medical/surgical patients and to reduce the complications associated with chemical dependency. Service is provided by selectively trained members of Maryview's chemical dependency service, and includes medical, nursing and counseling services.

Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition (VHRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, peer-run organization whose mission is to improve the health of the community it serves by advocating for, developing, and implementing evidence-based solutions to mitigate the adverse effects of drug use. We address health inequities faced by people who use drugs (PWUD) by providing outreach to marginalized, stigmatized, and criminalized populations, advocating for health policies that address their specific needs, and collaborating with other agencies to effectively meet those needs.

The Petersburg Health Care Alliance, part of Central Virginia Health Services' family of practices, provides primary medical care to anyone who needs it, regardless of their insurance status or income. The Alliance sees everyone from newborn to geriatric, provides well and sick medical visits, management of chronic disease and testing for early detection of diseases.
