They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

We empower clinicians, care teams, and patients to enhance hepatitis C (HCV) elimination in Virginia by breaking down barriers to access curative treatments through improved knowledge and resources. We offer HCV treatment through telemedicine for patients in Virginia. Patients identified as having positive HCV RNA should be treated. Curative treatment is available for hepatitis C with 8-12 weeks of Direct Acting Antiviral (DAA) oral medication with minimal, if any, side effects. Following treatment, a lab is needed in 12 weeks, checking the HCV PCR/RNA to determine cure.

Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. This health center has FTCA deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Support services provided by the Nexus program expand the options available to newly diagnosed or People Living with HIV giving them the benefit and flexibility of receiving HIV-related care in a medical setting of their choosing – a private infectious disease, primary care or specialist practice. Your doctor can refer you to Nexus and based on your eligibility you may enroll in the appropriate support services to supplement your medical treatment and help you achieve and maintain viral load suppression.
