We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services. Our convenient services are available at locations around Northern Virginia. We provide compassionate, dignified care to individuals regardless of their sex, race, background, sexual orientation, religious preference, financial status or insurance coverage. Metro TeenAIDS, founded in 1988, is a community health organization dedicated to supporting young people in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Through education, support, and advocacy, MTA provides HIV testing and counseling to prevent the spread of HIV. MTA promotes responsible decision-making through its in-school and after-school school programs, and improves the quality of life for young people who are HIV-positive, at risk of HIV infection, or in families with HIV/AIDS. MTA is the only organization in the Washington, DC area focused solely on the needs of youth as they relate to HIV and AIDS.

Southern Dominion Health System, Inc. is a non-profit organization and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), committed to the health care of individuals and families of our community, regardless of race, religion or social status. We currently operate out of six (6) different Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health centers located in Lunenburg, Dinwiddie, Amelia and Greensville Counties. We are dedicated to providing health care to everyone, including the medically underserved, uninsured and underinsured. This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). This health center has FTCA deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

AHF Healthcare Centers provide advanced medical care designed specifically for HIV-positive clients. AHF providers are knowledgeable of up-to-the-minute developments in HIV medical care. In addition, AHF Healthcare Centers are often part of the research teams testing new medications to fight HIV.

Horizon Behavioral Health is the premier provider of mental health, substance use, and intellectual disability services in Central Virginia.

Temporary or long-term residential options for individuals and families who are looking for housing. Included are market rate and subsidized rental and purchase options; facilities for people who do not want to establish independent households or cannot afford to do so; and housing for older adults and people with disabilities who are capable of maintaining independent living in a communal environment without any form of supervision, care or support. Structures may include single family dwellings, apartment buildings, duplexes, triplexes, congregate living facilities, mobile home parks, single room occupancy (SRO) housing and other shared housing facilities.

NovaSalud is committed to providing care to people living with HIV regardless of their ability to pay. For those who are uninsured or underinsured, the Ryan White Program provides linkage to the Ryan White HIV care and supportive services. NovaSalud provides free confidential HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C counseling and testing for residents living in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. Outreach testing has been the foundation of NovaSalud's successful HIV prevention program for the past decade. Appointments are available by phone, online scheduling, or walk-in. The Comprehensive Harm Reduction (CHR) Program is part of a larger Public Health strategy to reduce negative health outcomes for people who engage in substance use. NovaSalud Program incorporates a spectrum of strategies and evidence-based interventions that include overdose, HIV/HCV transmission, and other infection prevention. NovaSalud programs provide support to diverse community members in the DC metropolitan area. Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

Programs that provide a therapeutic living environment in community-based facilities for individuals who have emotional and/or behavioral problems and require a structured, supervised treatment program which may include individual, group, family and other treatment modalities as appropriate, but who do not require inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
