Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Virginia offers reproductive health and family planning services to the community. Additionally we provide comprehensive, medically accurate sex education to faith based groups and other community members.

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare (BRBH) is the Community Services Board serving adults, children and families with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. Central Virginia Health Services is a non-profit community health center with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. They started in 1970 as a community-based and patient-directed organization focused on providing care to people with limited access to the health services they need. They are committed to and must uphold a high level of care, meeting administrative, clinical, and financial standards as part of responsibility as a FQHC. They offer comprehensive care: medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and at some sites, x-ray services. The majority of their governing board is made up of their patients – at least 51% of board members must be representative of the patients they serve.

At Wythe County Community Hospital, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality, family-friendly care available. We offer a wide range of health care services, including emergency medicine, heart care, maternity care, sleep medicine, surgical services, and many more.

Hospital-based programs that provide diagnostic and treatment services for individuals who have acute psychiatric disorders, who require hospitalization on a voluntary or involuntary basis for maximum benefit, and who might be a threat to themselves, to their families or to others if left in the community or placed in a less restrictive treatment setting. The objective of inpatient mental health programs is to stabilize and then return the individual to the community for ongoing treatment as quickly as possible, and to facilitate the transition by preparing the individual's family to cope with the limitations imposed by the illness and by arranging for other supportive services as required. Included are psychiatric hospitals, health care hospitals that have psychiatric units and state hospitals for people who are mentally disordered.

Support services provided by the Nexus program expand the options available to newly diagnosed or People Living with HIV giving them the benefit and flexibility of receiving HIV-related care in a medical setting of their choosing – a private infectious disease, primary care or specialist practice. Your doctor can refer you to Nexus and based on your eligibility you may enroll in the appropriate support services to supplement your medical treatment and help you achieve and maintain viral load suppression. At Rehabilitation Hospital of Bristol, a joint venture of Ballad Health and Encompass Health, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Bristol and serving the Tri-Cities area, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions. Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits. Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed. *The hospital provides access to independent physicians.

The Bradley Free Clinic serves uninsured, or underinsured residents of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Free Clinic patients have income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. The majority of all patients suffer from hypertension, obesity, diabetes, depression, and morbid obesity. Hepatitis C testing and treatment is offered at the Bradley Free Clinic

Primary care services; psychiatric services; individual psychotherapy and counseling; hormone therapy – in consultation with an endocrinologist; obstetrics/gynecological services; transgender clinic; vaccines; birth control (contraception); referral letters for surgery (including hysterectomy, transmasculine chest reconstruction, transfeminine breast augmentation, orchiectomy, facial plastic surgery) and for gender marker changes; referrals to other trans-competent resources provided, including gender confirmation surgeons.
